Vernon Sanders, 25, of Modesto, has been arrested for possession of a controlled substance, probation violation and a $100,500 Modesto Police warrant for domestic violence.

Ceres Police Officer Matt Berlier conducted a 1:53 a.m. stop on a car at the intersection of Ninth Street and Pecos Avenue on Thursday, Oct. 15. The officer did a search on Sanders and found him with methamphetamine.
