Odd behavior leads to arrest
Ceres Cop Car

A man who was acting strangely and jumping unto the hoods of cars stopping at the intersection of Wallace Avenue and Acorn Lane on Tuesday morning, Sept. 22 was ultimately arrested for resisting arrest.

Ceres Police Department spokesman Lt. Chris Perry said that officers arrived on scene of the 9:08 a.m. call for service and found Bryan Collin, 43, of Ceres. Collin was directed to sit on the curb as officers tried to figure out what was going on but he kept getting up and sitting back down and eventually took off running. Police gave chase and had to Taser Collin to stop him. He was arrested and taken by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in falling while being tasered. Lt. Perry said that Collin fought with the ambulance crew.

He was booked into the County Jail on the charge of resisting arrest.
