After an officer saw him speeding and ignoring two red signal lights, Francisco Sanchez, 36, of Modesto, was booked on two charges on Tuesday evening, Sept. 29.

Officer Miguel Villalobos was patrolling in the area of Hatch and Herndon roads when he spotted a white Ford F-150 pickup speeding westbound on Hatch Road. The officer said Sanchez failed to stop at a red light at Hatch and Herndon and at the one atop the Hatch/Highway 99 overpass and kept speeding. The officer caught up with Sanchez and pulled him over west of Highway 99.

Sanchez was driving on a suspended license for which he was charged along with reckless driving.
