Ceres Police were called Thursday evening about a suspicious 60-year-old Modesto man who was attempting to open the front door in an upper scale Ceres residence which led to his arrest on a warrant.

Officer Jeremy Caron was sent to the 700 block of Sarah Therese Way at 5:22 p.m. to check out the man who turned out to be Juan Macias, 60, of Modesto. Macias appeared intoxicated and said he was trying to find some place to rest. He was found to be wanted on a warrant and booked into the Public Safety Center for the warrant.
