A series of drunken driving arrests were made Friday and Saturday by Ceres Police.

At 8:47 p.m. on Friday Officer Jesus Salinas conducted a traffic stop at Fowler and Moffet and arrested driver David Rice, 67, of Ceres, on suspicion of DUI.

Officer Jesse Gutierrez stopped a vehicle at River and Bystrum at 10:15 p.m. and arrested driver Jeffrey Smith, 26, of Modesto, on DUI charges and driving on a suspended license for a prior DUI conviction.

At 2:58 a.m. on Saturday morning Officer Miguel Villalobos made a traffic stop at Hatch and Mitchell roads and arrested driver Eduardo Arancibia, 27, of Modesto, on DUI charges.
