Walmart nails two for shoplifting

Two persons were apprehended for shoplifting at the Ceres Walmart in separate cases on Saturday afternoon.

At 4:19 p.m., Ricky Furr, 56, of Modesto, was apprehended by a store loss prevention officer for concealing men's clothing in the front of his pants and walking out of the store without paying for it. Furr was booked at the County Jail for theft.

Ceres resident Rebecca Williams, 20, was cited and released after walking out of Walmart after not paying for $164.85 in merchandise. Williams was seen taking items by a store loss prevention officer and reported to police at 5:28 p.m.
