Woman faces DUI, child endangerment charges after injury crash

A 36-year-old Ceres woman who was involved in a alcohol-related vehicle crash on Wednesday evening, April 27 was jailed for DUI and child endangerment charges since she had two minors in the car.

The two children in the car, aged 6 and 10, were injured in the 8:33 p.m. crash at Service and Morgan roads.

Two vehicles were sustained major damage.

Officer Krandall Vandagriff noticed that one of the drivers, Misty Brinton, 36, of Ceres appeared to be intoxicated. After given a field sobriety test, Brinton was arrested and booked for felony DUI and child endangerment.
