Ceres High School senior Daniel Quijano was honored Friday as a “Rotary Student of the Month.”
The Ceres Rotary Club and school officials honored Daniel as an exceptional student who demonstrates strong leadership, academic achievement, responsibility, and a commitment to his school and community.
Quijano serves as the ASB president at Ceres High School, where he represents the student body and plays an important role in helping plan activities and create a positive school experience for his peers. His leadership, dependability and willingness to take on responsibility have made him a valued member of the Ceres High School community.
He has also distinguished himself academically, ranking fourth in his graduating class with an impressive 4.333 GPA. His academic success, combined with his leadership responsibilities, reflects his strong work ethic and dedication to achieving his goals. He has consistently demonstrated that he can balance the demands of school while remaining actively involved in the community.
Outside of school, Daniel works every weekend at the farmers’ market in Turlock. His commitment to maintaining a job while excelling academically and serving as a student leader speaks to his maturity, time management, and sense of responsibility.
