Stanislaus County Supervisor Channce A. Condit and community partners successfully completed the 31st District 5 Community Cleanup in Keyes, continuing an ongoing effort to improve neighborhoods and bring residents together through community service.
The cleanup took place at Hatch Park and brought together local residents, volunteers and the community to dispose of trash and unwanted debris.
By the conclusion of the cleanup, five 40-yard bins — totaling up to 15,000 pounds — were hauled to the landfill.
“Days like today represent community partners working together to make District 5 a better place to live,” said Condit. “I want to thank the Keyes Fire Department, Love Keyes, and everyone from the community who came out and helped make this cleanup a success. These events are about more than removing trash — they are about taking pride in our communities and working together to make a difference.”
The Keyes cleanup marked the 31st community cleanup organized throughout District 5 under Supervisor Condit’s leadership. The cleanup has brought together residents and local organizations throughout the district to address illegal dumping, remove unwanted debris, and improve the appearance of neighborhoods.
Condit said his office will continue working with local partners and residents to organize community cleanups throughout District 5.
