Bonnie Webber
A funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. today at Grace Community Christian Church in Ceres, for Bonnie Bonnie Grace Kandarian Webber, 73, of Hughson. She died Aug. 8, 2012 at Community Hospice in Hughson, after a seven-year battle with multiple cancers.

Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements, including interment that follows at Lakewood Memorial Park in Hughson.

Mrs. Webber was born July 14, 1939 in Fowler to Lazarus and Roxie Kandarian. She attended Iowa Grammar School, and graduated from Fowler High School in 1957. She attended San Jose Bible College in San Jose for a year before beginning a 10-year career as a bookkeeper and office manager - skills she would use again in the medical practice of her husband, Dr. Harry Webber. She and Harry were married Oct. 12, 1967. After their marriage, she moved from San Jose to Modesto.

Bonnie enjoyed creating stained glass art, playing tennis at the Modesto SOS Club, snow-skiing, water-skiing, hiking, backpacking and visiting places like Hong Kong, Japan, Puerto Rico, Hawaii and Armenia. As a member of the Modesto Area A's Model A Club and the Classic T-Bird Club, Bonnie enjoyed collecting classic cars.

Mrs. Webber was a member of Grace Community Christian Church in Ceres.

She leaves her husband of 44 years, Harry Webber of Hughson; three daughters, Cherie Gamboa of Anaheim Hills; Linda Wittrup of Roseville; and Jeanie Adair of Turlock; two sisters, Lazetta Korpela of Fowler, and Jeanette Comstock of San Jose; caregiver, Marianne Adams of Modesto; and two grandchildren, Clayton and Whitney Adair of Turlock.
