A graveside service was held Monday afternoon at Ceres Memorial Park for Dena Enola Deckard Brazil, 80, of Ceres. She died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2005 at her home.
Eaton Family Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Born Dec. 8, 1924, Mrs. Brazil was a native of Dallas, Mo., and lived in Ceres for 75 years. She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, gardening, crafts and animals.
Mrs. Brazil leaves behind her husband, Johnnie Brazil of Keyes; children, Dennis Brazil of Gentry, Ark., Allen Brazil of Keyes, Bettie Nelson of Ceres and Peggie Penney of Oakdale; brother, John Deckard of Bakersfield; and six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
