A graveside service was held Friday at Lakewood Memorial Park for Eva Blanche Norris Michael, 92, of Ceres. She died of natural causes on Dec. 11, 2011 in Hughson.
The McHenry Chapel of Franklin & Downs was in charge of arrangements.
Born June 29, 1919 in Oklahoma City, Okla., Eva married Harry Michael in 1945. She was a member of CrossPoint Community Church and was always in public work. She enjoyed sewing, canning fruit, gardening and to cook and bake.
She leaves behind her daughter, Celesta Michael of Ceres; and her brother, Edward Norris of Missouri. She was preceded in death by husband Harry Michael in 2005 and by siblings Velma Lockwood, Sherman Norris, Harvey Norris, Everett Norris, Freida Anderson and Margaret Peckham.
