A celebration of life was held Wednesday at Jacob Myers Park in Riverbank for Gerald Stephens, 66, of Riverbank. He died Thursday, June 10, 2004.
The Antelope Valley Crematorium Service in Palmdale was in charge of arrangements.
Born Oct. 27, 1937, Mr. Stephens was a native of Riverside. He lived in Riverbank on and off for many years and most recently for six months. Mr. Stephens also had lived in Grants Pass, Ore. He was an auto body worker and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Local survivors include sons Ricky Higle and Doug Higle, both of Hughson; and his sister, Thelma Higle of Ceres.
