Insisting on a Fifth Street crosswalk
a-letter-envelope-5

Editor, Ceres Courier,

Last year a student from Ceres High School was hit by a car on Fifth Street. This accident has caught the attention of many students, teachers, and parents. Student Gary Condit has started a petition regarding this incident to put a crosswalk and school zone signs on Fifth Street for students and pedestrians wanting to cross. This will prevent any accidents for the future. Students use this hectic street to walk to and from school every day, placing a crosswalk and school zone signs will increase the safety of students and other pedestrians.
