A Tuesday, April 29 traffic stop made by a Ceres Police officer netted the arrest of an occupant who had an arrest warrant related to a felony vandalism charge.
At approximately 8:48 a.m., Officer Eric Garcia was patrolling the area of Hatch and Mitchell roads when he stopped Benjamin Reyes, 23, of Modesto who was known to be associated with a silver-colored Honda Accord, for vehicle code violations. Officer Garcia was familiar with the car and knew that he was wanted.
Officer Garcia made contact with the occupants and encountered found Reyes and made the arrest. He was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
