Hanging out and sleeping on the pavement of the Ceres Walmart store triggered the attention of police who arrested a Stockton man for warrants.

At 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 24, officers were dispatched to the parking lot and found Earnest Pickens, 25, of Stockton, asleep. Pickens had an outstanding warrant for his arrest issued from a San Joaquin County agency. He was arrested and booked.
