Jordan Peterson doing well

Editor, Ceres Courier,

As we quickly approach the end of 2013, I wanted to reflect back to the beginning of when our son Jordan was rushed to the hospital with a life threatening issue.

As many of you know, Jordan suffered what was a life threatening illness that caused much heartache and stress on our family and friends. We spent many days and nights at U.C. Davis Children's Hospital while Jordan underwent treatments and the eventual surgery that got his health back on the right track. I am overjoyed to let you all know that Jordan has now been cleared 100 percent and has suffered no signs of trauma as a result of the illness that overtook his body.

During this difficult time the community of Ceres and the area's that surround it came together for our family and a Spaghetti Dinner fundraiser was put together by the community to raise funds for our family as we had a high deductible for catastrophic illnesses. We were so overwhelmed by the outpouring of love, prayers, support and well wishes expressed by everyone and at the same time, we were so out of our minds with emotion about Jordan that we know we did not get to thank everyone properly for their support, donations and prayers.

Thank you everyone that came out to support our family; although, I would have loved to have thanked everyone individually, I was unable to do that, I know some of you donated items, left extra tip money to go towards the cause and were there to lend us moral support during this tragic time for our family. If I did not get the opportunity to say thank you we want you to know from the bottom of our hearts that we THANK YOU very much, we love Ceres and the people who live here and I guess it is true, Ceres, Together We Achieve.

Update on Jordan, he is doing great and as I stated earlier, he is 100 percent medically cleared with no sign of trauma and his medical bill have all been paid in full.

Again, thank you all, we could not have made it through this difficult time if not for your generosity and prayers.

God Bless you all,

Brian, Sherrill, Skylar & Jordan Petersen,
Modesto
