Ceres Police arrested one man who is being charged with attempting to steal a vehicle in the 1200 block of Central Avenue on Saturday with two other suspects who are at large.

Police were dispatched at 12:19 p.m. after the owner of the vehicle called police to say he interrupted three suspects attempting to steal his vehicles by loading them onto trailers. The victim confronted the men, two of whom fled in their vehicle, leaving Delarosa at the scene. Delarosa began walking away from the scene when the victim followed and called 911. Ismael Delarosa, 35, was captured by Sgt. Trenton Johnson as he walked down Central Avenue.

Delarosa was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center where he faces charges of attempted vehicle theft and violation of probation.
