Car stop yields two arrests

A traffic stop for mechanical violations in the 3800 block of Collins Road early on Thursday, July 18, sent two occupants to jail.

Officer Adam Hall pulled over driver, Lindsey Ridenour, 29, of Modesto, at 12:29 a.m. and found her to be wanted om a misdemeanor warrant issued by the Ripon Police Department. Passenger Dustin Robinson, 20, of Keyes, was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and provided a false name to Officer Hall. Robinson was arrested and booked for possession of a controlled substance and providing a false name to a police officer. Ridenour was arrested for her outstanding warrant.
