Ceres man found with burglary tools

A 38-year-old Ceres man was arrested Friday morning after an officer searched him and discovered a methamphetamine pipe and shaved vehicle keys commonly used to steal cars.

At 10:47 a.m. Officer Eric Gallegos stopped two men two near Laundry Day laundromat in the 1800 block of Mitchell Road. Brandon Blas, 38, of Ceres, is on searchable probation and was found with the illegal items. He was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and burglary tools as well as probation violation.

The other man with him, Samuel Hogancamp, 27, of Ceres, was arrested on a warrant.
