Sabra McCurdy, 30, of Ceres, was arrested Friday morning after she was pulled over for a license plate violation and found with a small amount of methamphetamine.

Ceres Police Officer Matt Berlier stopped McCurdy's car at Central Avenue and Pine Street at 12:45 a.m. Because she was on searchable probation, Officer Berlier searched the car and found the narcotics. She was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and taken to the Public Safety Center where custodial deputies found more methamphetamine hidden on her. McCurdy was booked for possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, bringing illegal drugs into a jail and violating her probation.
