Dumpster divers arrested on warrants
Ceres Cop Car

Dumpster diving in Ceres led to the discovery of two Turlock men with misdemeanor warrants for their arrest issued by Turlock Police.
Arrested early Thursday morning were: Darrell Graves, 32, who has three traffic warrants with $2,250 bail; and Jacob Hernandez, 29, who had a domestic violence arrest warrant connected to $5,000 bail.

At 12:10 a.m. Officer Art Hively was patrolling the area of Whitmore Avenue and Fairview Drive when he thought he saw the pair jumping the fence in or out of Modern Storage. It turned out the two were only accessing a small walled area for the dumpster. When their IDs were checked the warrants popped up.
