A 45-year-old Hughson man was arrested early Tuesday, Oct. 20 on an arrest warrant.

At 1:03 a.m., Officer Eric Gallegos was on patrol when he noticed a man sitting in a vehicle parked on Evans Road east of Herndon Road. As Officer Gallegos past the car, a man in the driver’s seat slumped down as if to conceal himself. 

Officer Gallegos noticed no license plates on the vehicle and went back to investigate. He found that Efrain Serrano was wanted for an outstanding felony assault warrant. He was booked without incident.
