Two occupants of a vehicle stopped for having registration expired for four years went to jail on arrest warrants early Thursday.

 At 2:08 a.m. Officer Eric Souza stopped a Honda Odyssey minivan at River and Bystrum roads for the expired registration. Francisco Montanez, 30, of Modesto, was found to be unlicensed and had two warrants and was arrested.

Passenger Britney Ramos, 29, of Modesto, also had two warrants for her arrest.

The vehicle was towed and both Montanez and Ramos were booked into jail.
