At robbery was reported at 11:35 a.m. on Thursday. The store told police that the suspect removed a flashlight from its packaging and concealed it in his waistband left the store without paying for it. Outside the store a loss prevention officer stopped the suspect who then began to unfold a multi-use tool and claiming he would not be stopped. Fearing for his safety, the loss prevention agent allowed the suspect to flee.

Ochoa recognized the clothing he was wearing as the same clothing in the surveillance video. Officer Ochoa confirmed Estrada-Ortiz as the suspect by comparing images of the suspect to him.

The tool used in the robbery was found in the suspect’s jacket pocket. He was booked for robbery.
