A Thursday morning complaint about a homeless camp in the 3900 block of Mitchell Road resulted in an officer checking it out and finding a 47-year-old suspect in possession of a small amount of suspected methamphetamine and meth pipe.

Officer Kiashira Ruiz visited the location at 11:42 a.m. and found John Freeman who was had an active warrant for his arrest for failure to appear on a prior drug possession case.

Freeman was booked into the Public Safety Center.
