Loitering behind Hatch Road businesses has become a problem in Ceres recently and officers have been keeping tabs on the problem. When Officer Kao Saechao was providing extra patrol behind the AM/PM at Hatch Road and Richland Avenue at 11:21 p.m. on Tuesday, March 8 he found a wanted man sitting in a parked car. 

Joseph Stevens, 52, of Ceres was checked for warrants through dispatch and it was revealed that he had a no-bail warrant issued by the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department. Stevens was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
