Modesto driver, 39, faces new charge from Ceres car stop

An early Monday traffic stop on a Chevrolet Cobalt for expired registration tags led to the arrest of its driver who had an outstanding felony arrest warrant.

Shane Bailey, 39, of Modesto was also arrested by Officer Aaron Pinon for suspected methamphetamine found in his possession.

Shortly after the 12:40 a.m. traffic stop, Bailey was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of possession of an illegal substance.
