Mariano Beas, 28, of Ceres, was arrested Friday evening after a Ceres patrol officer saw him speeding westbound on Service Road and pulled him over.
The officer pursued the speeding Honda Accord at 7:31 p.m. and Beas appeared intoxicated after pulling over.
Beas had a blood alcohol level of .15 percent and was booked for driving under the influence, driving under the influence with a blood alcohol level above .08 percent and driving on a suspended driver's license.
