Three teenage boys were arrested Friday evening after they crashed a stolen Honda Civic and fled the scene and tried to hide from police.
Officers were dispatched at 9 p.m. to the intersection of Fowler and Moffett roads for a vehicle collision in which occupants of a black Honda Civic fled after hitting a white Chevy Colorado in the intersection. Officers learned the Honda Civic had been stolen and quickly set up a perimeter to begin searching for suspects. Three boys ranging in age from 12 to 15 were found and booked into Juvenile Hall on charges of possession of stolen property.
Property belonging to at some of the suspects linked them to the stolen car.
