Two Ceres men face charges of robbery after allegedly stealing items from the Walmart store and then fighting with a store employee who tried to stop them.

Police were called at 9:56 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8 by Walmart loss prevention officers who said two men fled after a scuffle. By the time officers arrived, the two suspects had fled the store toward the canal. One of them, Alfredo Oseguera, 21, of Ceres, was arrested immediately.

A few hours later, police found and arrested Albert Enriquez, 21, of Ceres, who was allegedly hiding in the area.

Both men had stolen Walmart property on them at the time of the arrests.

Because the goods were taken by force or by fear, both Oseguera and Enriquez face robbery charges in court.
