Two Modesto men were arrested for drugs Monday evening, Feb. 16 after an officer stopped a traffic stop.

At 5:12 p.m. Ceres officer Thomas Miller contacted two men at Hatch Road and Herndon Avenue. During the stop Officer Miller searched Raymond Martinez, 30, of Modesto, and found him with methamphetamine and a methamphetamine pipe. Martinez was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and violating the terms of his probation.

The other man, Cuom Phan, 36, of Modesto, was arrested on a Modesto Police Department warrant for possession of methamphetamine.
