A woman sustained facial injuries after her ex-husband allegedly struck her in the face during a domestic disturbance in the 2000 block of Bavil Drive on Saturday afternoon.

Someone called 911 at 2 p.m. saying they saw Ripu Ram Raj, 39, of Turlock, strike his ex-wife at her house. During the investigation the officer learned that he lived in Turlock. Police there picked up Raj and handed him over to Ceres police for booking on charges of felony domestic violence.

Raj apparently had shown up at his ex's house at strange hours in the day and night.
