Sher Kettle, 21, was arrested Sunday evening and charged with possession of a controlled substance and probation violation after she was stopped by an officer who found it suspicious that she was peering into a parked car.

Officer George Woodward was patrolling in the 2900 block of Don Pedro Road at 7:36 p.m. when he observed Kettle and stopped to talk to her. When asked if she had any drugs on her, Kettle replied that she was in possession of heroin. He searched Kettle and found the drug and then took her to the County Jail.
