A 50-year-old Ceres woman wanted for a prior hit and run charge was arrested during a Friday afternoon traffic stop.

At 2:21 p.m., Officer Tony Scopesi stopped the driver of a vehicle with expired registration on Whitmore Avenue at Fifth Street. Driver Consuelo Aguilar, 50, of Ceres, had an outstanding warrant for her arrest and was placed under arrest.
