DUI charges await red light runner

A 32-year-old Ceres woman was arrested Tuesday evening, June 1 after she was observed by police as she was speeding and running a red light.

At 11:05 p.m. Sgt. Vince Hooper stopped Amanda Trillo in her 2002 Silver Honda Civic and quickly observed her displaying signs of being intoxicated. Trillo submitted to a breath test which showed a blood alcohol content of over the legal limit.

She was arrested for DUI and booked into the Stanislaus Public Safety Center.
