A 37-year-old Fresno parolee was arrested by Ceres Police when he drove a stolen car down Mitchell Road from Modesto on Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 16.

At 4:30 p.m., Officer Kevin Roseen learned that a stolen black Ford Bronco was possibly coming into Ceres and began searching for it. He spotted it coming southbound on Mitchell Road and followed it as the driver, Stephon Barnett, 37, of Fresno, turned into the Rite Aid parking lot. The officer approached the car which was occupied by four people, who were all compliant.

Barnett was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center for possession of the stolen vehicle, driving without a license and a parole violation.
