Police are looking to arrest James Florida, 32, of Ceres, for alleging assaulting his live-in girlfriend during a Thursday domestic fight in the2800 block of Malik Drive.

Police responded to the residence at 10:25 p.m. and found an injured woman who possibly suffered a broken nose. She said she and Florida got into an argument over his alleged drug use. When she went to call 911 Florida allegedly hung up the receiver and head butted her in the face. Florida fled the house before police arrived.

Florida is wanted by Ceres Police for a charge of domestic battery.

The victim was treated at a local hospital.
