A 53-year-old Turlock driving in Ceres on March 30 ended up going to jail after the Ceres officer who stopped him learned of his two outstanding arrest warrants and his possession of suspected methamphetamine and heroin.

At 11:04 p.m. Ceres Police Officer Kao Saechao stopped a gray-colored Honda Civic for expired registration tags. The driver, William Hilton, 53, of Turlock, was found to be unlicensed with the warrants for his arrest.

Hilton was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of possession of illegal substance charges.
