Two men were arrested Wednesday, July 9 after they were identified as having property taken from one of the burned out apartment units at Vineyard Apartments.

At 11:30 a.m. the victim came to the Ceres Police Department and told Officer Joe Wren that video games were taken from her fire-damaged apartment unit. Wren found the property at Game Stop and was able to identify the suspect through store surveillance video.

Officers Wren and Pat Dayton went to the suspect's home at 1628 Evans Road when one of the suspects tried to bolt and was caught. Police recovered a stolen TV and video games.
