Officer Nicolas Welsh was on patrol at 3:16 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 20 when he saw a man loitering near the drive-in window of the McDonald’s, closed for the night at Whitmore Avenue and Morgan Road.

Dustin Cribbet, 46, of Modesto claimed that he was trying to buy a soda and did not realize the store was closed. 

A warrant check showed that Cribbet had two drug-related warrants for his arrest so he was arrested.
